I have just put my Buy to Let property on the market and before doing so realised that in order to hopefully make the property stand out from the crowd, it needed quite a lot of care and attention to the internal paintwork.

Paul came round to do quote promptly and provided a detailed and competitive quote within a week. I accepted the quote and Paul started work three weeks later, at a convenient time when the current tenants were away on holiday.

As the work progressed, it became apparent that the rooms that had been painted stood out so much from the rooms that hadn’t, that I had to ask Paul if he would not mind doing a few more jobs while he was there. Paul did not have any hesitation in taking this on, did so with little fuss and again at a very good price producing an excellent end result.

I can honestly say that they are the best painting contractors I have ever used. Their work is meticulous is all areas and I was astonished at the effort they put in to achieve the balance of preserving the 'old' character of the walls and woodwork and yet achieving an excellent finish. The attitude and work ethic of Paul's workforce is excellent. They made every effort to consult with me throughout the project to make sure we were all in agreement where there were areas that could have been dealt with in a variety of ways. Paul checked with me every few days during the project to make sure that I was happy with everything. They were extremely clean and tidy and if ever they needed to leave materials overnight or dust sheets in place, they always checked with me that this was not a problem and on the one occasion where I really did not want materials left out over a particular weekend, they removed everything to their vans without complaint.

I would not hesitate in recommending them as a thoroughly professional company. The preparation work and finished product in my house was excellent.

Whenever I look for any services whether it's in our business or my private life these are always the qualities I look for. When I asked Paul Pittock of Brilliant Decorators I was sure he had these qualities. We required Paul to paint the woodwork of the windows on the outside of the building. Paul and his team turned the job around quickly, despite the weather conditions. They also planned which windows they could paint when, taking into consideration training that was being provided in different rooms. When they discovered some of the woodwork needed repairing, they were able to arrange for a joiner to come within a number of days before they continued painting. The result was windows looking as good as new with no disruption to the business.
